Our 1st grade PLC spent the Early Release Day working through their next math unit. They solved math problems, defining what proficiency will "look" like for our students, and anticipated and discussed potential student misconceptions. #ExplorerNation

Thank you to our wonderful, hardworking custodial crew that has worked to prepare our school for students by shoveling and salting this winter. We appreciate all you do to have us ready to welcome students back after each snow storm this year.

If it seems that you've been hearing that a lot of your student's friends have been sick, you're not alone. Our team of school nurses has noticed it, too, and shares a few key reminders to help you and your student(s) stay healthy as we all look toward the end of cold and flu season.
1. Wash your hands often with soap and water, especially after using the restroom and before eating.
2. When you need to cough or sneeze, do so into a tissue or your elbow
3. Stay home/keep your student home when feeling sick

This week we celebrate National School Counselor's Week. We are so lucky to have Ms. Howe as our counselor. She is always a kind and supportive presence for the students. She empowers students to express their feelings and solve problems in effective ways. We love Ms. Howe!
