Our first First Responders/ Police Officials Appreciation day was a hit! Students enjoyed the Police dogs, SWAT team and Bomb Unit! Thanks to Officer Schweppe for organizing this awesome event.

Our first day of 5th grade camp was a success. Students found their cabin mates by a blindfolded search for others making the same animal sound, decorated a cabin flag, worked on skits and participated in the “Birds of Pray” and “Reptile” presentations.





More writing celebrations as Mrs. Swearingin, dressed as Mrs. Tibbets in Night of the Spadefoot Toad, had her students write about a character who cares about their environment and then they acted out their hooks!

What a difference a week makes! Last week these awesome third graders in Mrs. Sorenson's class earned a class reward of popsicles! One week later we are out of the 90 degree temperatures and enjoying beautiful fall weather! Keep up the hard work 3rd grade!




OES Drama Club spent their first club meeting creating group expectations, planning a Halloween Skit and enjoying charades. Coming soon to a stage near you!


Explorer Families were back today after 2+ long years. These K-5 cohort groups provide another layer of support and connection for our Explorers. Thanks OES staff for embracing this important initiative! #ExplorerNation
