2nd grade celebrated all they have learned about the Lunar New Year in their most recent unit of ELA. 20 students danced their dragon to traditional music to mimic the parades that occur during the celebration.

It was a beautiful day for learning at the ballpark! 5th grade students enjoyed the St Louis Cardinals CAPS program., where math, history and science are explored through baseball.




Families explored many STEAM activities, the book fair, art exhibition and student performances!










2nd grade put on an amazing performance of "Wing It!". It takes courage to step out of the nest and try something new, but all of the little birds "took flight"!










Congratulations to Harry T. on being selected as a Missouri Tri-County Science and Technology Fair Winner! This smile says it all!

The OES Choir sang the National Anthem at the Ambush game and represented Explorer Nation with pride! Jumbo Tron and mascot soccer during intermission too!






Third grade students and teachers celebrated their learning about Native Americans by decorating their rooms with what they have learned about the different tribes. Students learned about food, culture, clothing, and life as a Native American.



Thankful for Elementary Literacy Facilitator, Melissa Durrell and her support with our vertical teams today. Our Early Release day focus was on Phonics standards and instructional routines!
