Wednesday, Jan. 25, 2023 will be a traditional SNOW DAY in Fort Zumwalt School District. All students, teachers and staff (other than 12-month employees) will be off Wednesday, Jan. 25, due to inclement weather. Just a reminder, this means the day will have to be made up at the end of the school year. Again, Jan. 25 will be a traditional snow day in Fort Zumwalt School District.

The state Office of Special Education is asking for input from parents, teachers, and other professionals and stakeholder groups that work with special needs students. We met our League of Leaders from North High yesterday. These older students will build relationships and mentor our Firebirds this year as they discuss the eight habits of highly effective kids. Love this collaboration on the North Side!

We are excited to invite families of our fifth graders to attend our S.T.A.R.T. Graduation on Tuesday, January 24, 2023 at 6 PM in the Flint Hill Gym. Our students have been learning from Officer Thorpe many ways to stay healthy, safe, and to say NO!
Winter weather got you down? Escape the house for a fun evening of Family Bingo at Flint Hill on Friday, January 27 at 6:30 PM. The event is free, but we do request RSVPs by 1/23/23 so we can plan for all the bingo players. Please bring a "white elephant" for our prize table.

Today is the last day of school for 2022 and it's the last day of our December #KindnessChallenge! It may be chilly, but write a positive message on the sidewalk with chalk. Will you brighten up the playground or your neighborhood? The choice is yours!
Tomorrow, 12/20/22, is our last day of school until 1/5/23. It is also our Winter Walk! Students should be prepared for the weather- we will go outside for our walk unless we have extreme conditions. This is a special time for our school family. Watch this page for updates!
Our final spirit day of 2022 is Tuesday: Winter Walk Day. Wear your scarves and hats and be ready for a peaceful winter walk.
